Silk Double Joe
Just like pure silk crepe de chine, there is also no face or back side for silk double joe. It is because the difference of gloss and color of both sides is very slight. Compared with pure silk crepe de chine, silk double joe has brighter and more obvious gloss, but is far from silk charmeuse. Silk double joe has the ability to stretch along the breadth since weft yarn twisting is used when it is woven. Some people prefer to call silk double joe crepe, which is because stretch double joe satin is manufactured later, and they are named in this way for distinction.
