How to DIY a Polka Dot Silk Dress
Step 1: Our inspiration dress is the Caldera Dress from Anthropologie. This dress is a total classic starting with the princess seamed bodice and going to the polka dot fabric.
Step 2: This was an easy dress to find a pattern for. Simplicity 1652 was the perfect choice, just use View B and omit the sleeves, as shown in View C. Easy-peasy, right?
Step 3: This silk satin polka dot fabric has a dense pattern and the perfect black color.
Black is always elegant. It is the most complete color in the whole world, made of all the colors in the palette.
This black color is pretty much my favorite color in the world .
